Dragons sign Nathan Brown

Catalans Dragons are delighted to announce the signing of Nathan Brown for the 2027 season.

The 33-year-old experienced Italian international prop will join the club ahead of the 2027 season, with a further year as an option.

Nathan Brown made his professional debut with the Wests Tigers in 2013 before moving to the South Sydney Rabbitohs and then joining Parramatta, where he established himself as a key member of the Eels’ forward pack over six seasons. He reached the finals on five occasions during that period, including the 2022 NRL Grand Final, as Parramatta lost to Penrith.

After a season with the Roosters the following season, he joined Manly in 2024. An important member of the Sea Eagles squad, he made 53 appearances for the club over three seasons.

A powerful and aggressive forward, Nathan Brown reached the milestone of 200 NRL appearances last season, having spent 14 seasons competing at the highest level.

He has also represented New South Wales twice in the State of Origin, both coming in 2020.

Born in Australia but of Italian heritage, Brown has also earned six caps for Italy, representing the Azzurri at the 2017 and 2022 Rugby League World Cups. He captained Italy in 2022, held in England.
