Luca Walsh joins Dragons

The club is delighted to announce the signing of Luca Walsh who signed a one-year contract with the club.

The 19-year-old french playmaker is now under contract with the Dragons until the end of the 2027 season.

Trained at Lézignan, Luca Walsh started playing rugby league with the Aude-based club before being approached by St Helens at the begininng of 2025. After joining the Saints, he progressed through the academy and reserve team before being promoted to the first-team squad during the current season.

In 2026, he also gained experience in the Championship through loan spells with Swinton Lions and Whitehaven. A French international at youth level, he is regarded as one of the most promising players of his generation.
