Catalans Dragons are delighted to announce the signing of Joe Burgess, who signed a two-year contrat with the club.
The 32-year-old England international is now under contract with the Dragons until the end of the 2028 season.

Joe Burgess came through the Wigan Warriors academy before making his professional debut in 2013 and winning his first Super League title that same season. He quickly established himself as one of the competition’s most prolific wingers, scoring 52 tries in 56 appearances over his next two seasons.
In 2016, he moved to the NRL, representing the Sydney Roosters and South Sydney Rabbitohs, before returning to Wigan in 2017. He won the World Club Challenge that year, scoring a hat-trick against Cronulla, and added a second Super League title in 2018.
After seven seasons at Wigan, Joe Burgess joined Salford before moving to Hull KR. With the Robins, he became a key player and played a major role in their historic treble in 2025, winning the Super League title, Challenge Cup and League Leaders’ Shield. He also scored a brace in the Super League Grand Final against Wigan and won the World Club Challenge against Brisbane Broncos earlier that season. He finished his Hull KR spell with 65 tries in 74 appearances.
An England international, he made 4 appearances for his country, scoring once against France.
After 14 seasons at the highest level and more than 200 career tries, Joe Burgess will bring his experience, power and finishing ability to the Dragons from the 2027 season.
