Hugo Cellier signs with the Dragons

The club is delighted to announce the signing of Hugo Cellier, who today put pen to paper on a two-year contract with the Catalans Dragons.

Cellier joined the club’s reserve team midway through last season, making the switch from rugby union after coming through the ranks at USAP and previously playing for Tarbes.

Cellier, 22, is playing centre and signs his first professional contract with the club.

Hugo joined our reserve team towards the end of last season with a genuine desire to discover Rugby League. In just five games, he quickly showed the extent of his potential. He was impressed by the speed and intensity of our sport, while we were impressed by his athleticism and technical ability. He is a player with significant room for improvement, and we are confident he will continue to develop over the coming years. We are delighted to see him commit his future to the club.
