Dragons sign Cole Geyer

Catalans Dragons are delighted to announce the signing of Cole Geyer, who will join the club ahead of the 2027 season.

The 25-year-old Australian hooker joins the south of France from Oldham and has signed a two-year contract with the Dragons.

Cole Geyer started his career in the Queensland Cup with the Brisbane Tigers, Melbourne Storm’s feeder club, before joining the Burleigh Bears, Brisbane Broncos’ feeder club.

A dynamic and explosive hooker, he also had the opportunity to make his debut in Super League with Huddersfield this year, joining the Giants on loan midway through the season. He made 14 appearances for Huddersfield before returning to Oldham for the Championship play-offs. He helped his side reach the Championship Final, where they were beaten by London.

After a strong and consistent season, Cole Geyer scored 10 tries in 32 appearances in 2026.

His arrival in Perpignan will add further competition at hooker ahead of the 2027 season, alongside Amir Bourouh and Ugo Tison.
