The club is delighted to announce that Clément Martin has signed a new two-year contract extension.
The 21-year-old centre or winger, who came through the academy at Lézignan, had one year remaining on his contract. He is now tied to the Dragons until the end of the 2029 season.
During the 2024 season, he was one of the standout young players in the Elite 1 competition, and his impressive performances earned him a call-up to the France U19 squad for their summer tour.
Having made four Super League appearances and scored a try against Huddersfield last season, he was also selected by Laurent Frayssinous for France’s World Cup qualifier against Ukraine, where he made his mark by scoring a try.
Deployed at centre by John Cartwright, he has featured in six of the Dragons’ last nine Super League games this season.
Clément Martin: “I’m very happy and proud to be extending my time with the club. It’s a great feeling to continue wearing this jersey and to keep developing as a player at this club. I’d like to thank the directors and coaching staff for their trust. I still have a lot of desire and ambition, and I can’t wait to keep giving my best on the field.”
