Catalans Dragons are pleased to announce the signing of Amir Bourouh from the 2027 season.
The 25-year-old hooker who plays for Hull FC, has signed a 2-year contract with the club.
Amir Bourouh : “I’m really excited to be joining the Catalans Dragons. I believe I have played my best rugby so far under John Cartwright, but I also know that I still have so much more to give. So I can’t wait to get started with John and the rest of the team. The Dragons have huge ambitions and are determined to build on their previous successes. Trained at Wigan, the English hooker made his professional debut for the Warriors at just 18 years-old. In 2022, he joined Salford and continued his development in Super League, while also gaining valuable experience on loan in Championship with Halifax, London, Swinton and Barrow.
In 2025, he moved to Hull FC, where he quickly established himself as an important member of the squad. A regular starter as a hooker, Amir Bourouh made 50 appearances for the club, scoring five tries.
Born in Huddersfield, he has French and Algerian heritage through his father.
