9 players to leave the club at the end of the season

The club can confirm that nine players will leave at the end of the 2026 season.

The departures of Benjamin Garcia and Tommy Makinson, who will both retire at the end of the season, as well as Alrix Da Costa, Solomona Faataape and Toby Sexton, had already been confirmed earlier in the season. The club can now confirm a further four departures.

Kruise Leeming, Matty Russell, Josh Simm and Edenn Rogers-Smith, who are all out of contract at the end of the season, will also leave the club.

Following Saturday’s last home game of the season against York, a ceremony will take place on the pitch to celebrate and pay tribute to these nine players.

A special tribute will be paid to Alrix Da Costa, who has worn the Red and Gold colours for 11 seasons, as well as Benjamin Garcia and Tommy Makinson, who will bring their remarkable careers to an end.
